I was born in Belo sur Tsiribihina, on the river everyone crosses on the way to the Tsingy. I have guided for ten years — first for other agencies, now for myself. I know which ferry leaves when, which lodge cooks well, and which stretch of road is worth the hours and which is not. When you write to this site, I am the one who reads it, and I am the one who meets you at the airport.

Why travel with us
Born on the road to the Tsingy
Belo sur Tsiribihina is my home town. Every traveller heading to Bekopaka passes through it, and I have lived beside that river crossing my whole life.
Ten years on the circuits
I have walked the Grand and Petit Tsingy circuits for ten years, in every month the park is open, in heat and after rain.
Private trips only
Never a coach group. Two people, a family, a few friends. We leave when you are ready and we stop where you want to stop.
You book directly with me
No foreign middleman and no call centre. The person answering your message is the person who will be with you on the rock, and the money stays in Madagascar.
Madagascar broke away from the rest of Gondwana around eighty-eight million years ago and has been on its own ever since. Around nine in ten of the species here live nowhere else. The people came later, by sea, from Borneo and from the African mainland, and the west where I live is Sakalava country.
