The journey
The southern highland road with its rainforests, sandstone canyons and spiny forest, then west to the baobabs and the stone forest. Highlands and craft towns, lemur tracking in Ranomafana, the Isalo massif, the spiny forest and the reef at Ifaty, then north to Morondava, the Avenue of the Baobabs, Kirindy and four days reaching and exploring the Tsingy de Bemaraha.
The hop from the south-west to Morondava is flown.
