The journey
East, south and west — the full island. The eastern rainforest at Andasibe with the indri calling at dawn, the RN7 south through Ranomafana and Isalo to the coast, and finally the west: baobabs, Kirindy, the ferry crossings and the Tsingy de Bemaraha. Three weeks is the length at which Madagascar stops being a series of drives.
The hop from the south-west to Morondava is flown.
